Biography

Simon Tito is a highly driven rugby league centre known for his explosiveness, physicality, and ability to impact games both with and without the ball. Currently playing for the Ryde-Eastwood Hawks, Simon has built an impressive résumé across multiple elite pathways and clubs.

His development began in the Melbourne Storm academy system (U14–U15) before progressing through the Sydney Roosters and Parramatta Eels junior systems, including a Harold Matthews Grand Final appearance. He continued his rise with the Manly Sea Eagles, featuring in SG Ball Grand Finals and earning exposure to NRL pre-season environments at both Manly and later the Penrith Panthers.

Simon was part of the 2022 Jersey Flegg Cup premiership-winning Penrith Panthers side, a key milestone that underlined his ability to perform in high-pressure environments. His career has since included stints across the NSW Cup and Queensland Cup with clubs such as the Newcastle Knights, North Sydney Bears, Ipswich Jets, and West Tigers.

In 2025, Simon’s attacking ability was on full display as he finished as the Ron Massey Cup’s leading point scorer and try scorer, reinforcing his reputation as a genuine match-winner. He followed this with selection in the 2026 NSW City Origin squad, recognising his continued progression at senior level.

In addition to rugby league, Simon is also a competitive boxer, recording a TKO victory in his first fight in 2026. His combat training background contributes directly to his physicality, footwork, and resilience on the field.

Off the field, Simon works as a barber and support worker, and is deeply committed to community impact. He is an advocate for men’s mental health, involved with R U OK? initiatives, and regularly contributes to youth leadership programs. His creativity extends to music and performance, with a long-standing passion for singing, dancing, and community events.

Simon’s long-term ambition is to make his NRL debut and represent his culture on the international stage.
