Born in Cairns and raised between Hope Vale and Cairns, Guomoy Murphy is a proud Indigenous athlete whose sporting journey reflects resilience, leadership, and humility. Currently completing Year 12 at Rockhampton Grammar School on a Cape York Leadership Program Scholarship, Guomoy has excelled in both Rugby League and Rugby Union, earning recognition across multiple representative and school-level competitions.
