Savannah Roberts-Hickling is a driven and dynamic dual-code athlete with a proven track record in elite junior systems and representative environments. A proud Bundjalung and Gomeroi woman, she combines physicality, intelligence, and composure with a deep sense of cultural pride and leadership.
In rugby league, Savannah developed through the Harvey Norman Under 19s with the Tweed Seagulls and earned back-to-back NSW Koori Knockout titles. Her consistency and work ethic secured her a place in the Gold Coast Titans Elite Pathways Program (2023–2024) and an NRLW Development Interim Contract (2024–2025). In 2025, she was selected for the Westpac Female U19 NSW Country squad, further cementing her status as one of the game’s emerging talents.
Her rugby union journey has accelerated rapidly. After joining the ACT Brumbies Indigenous Pathways Program, Savannah has progressed into the ACT Brumbies Super Rugby Women’s squad for the 2026 season—becoming the first graduate of the program to earn a contract. Known for her explosive power, defensive intent, and competitiveness, Savannah thrives in structured systems and consistently delivers under pressure. Her athletic profile is backed by multi-sport success, including standout achievements in athletics, and representative honours in rugby union through NSW CHS and Australian Schools competitions.
Off the field, Savannah is grounded, coachable, and community-driven. She has been recognised with the Australian Olympic Change-Maker Award for her leadership and cultural impact, reflecting her commitment to creating pathways for others.
Now competing in Super Rugby Women’s with the ACT Brumbies, Savannah is building as a high-upside, dual-code athlete with the talent, mindset, and work ethic to succeed at the highest level.
