Sarah Colman is an emerging rugby league playmaker whose transition from elite-level soccer to rugby league has been seamless and impactful.

After 16 years in soccer - including a first-grade debut at just 13 and multiple premierships - Sarah made the switch to rugby union and league in 2022, before committing fully to league in 2025.

Her background in soccer gives her exceptional footwork, spatial awareness, and game vision, all of which she’s adapted into her rugby league game with confidence and precision. Known for her calm under pressure, sharp kicking game, and natural leadership, Sarah has quickly become a key figure in every team she joins.

In 2024 and 2025, she helped lead the Western Rams to back-to-back titles in the NSWRL Women’s Country Championships, including a dominant 46–6 Grand Final win over Northern Rivers at GIO Stadium. She also co-captains the Wentworthville Magpies in the NSW Harvey Norman Premiership, where she played a pivotal role in their 2024 minor premiership.

Sarah’s representative honours include selection for NSW Country at the Harvey Norman Women’s National Championships (undefeated in 2024), and a decorated rugby union stint with NSW Country Corellas, Central West Rugby, and Bathurst Bulldogs, where she won multiple titles.

In club play, Sarah has delivered standout performances — including a 16-point haul (2 tries, 4 goals) in a 28–0 win over the Bulldogs, and a clutch kicking display in a 22–14 win over the Wests Tigers. She has proven herself as a reliable goal-kicker, playmaker, and leader across both halfback and hooker roles.
