Biography

Emmilea Prior is an emerging rugby league talent recognised for her speed, agility, and natural football instincts. A versatile player across the wing, fullback, and hooker, she brings a high-energy, fast-paced style that continuously pressures defensive lines and creates attacking opportunities.

Born in Townsville and developing her early years in Western Australia, Emmilea built her foundation with the Willagee Bears, where she developed her signature high-effort playing style. Her exposure to multiple systems across states has shaped her adaptability, resilience, and ability to impact games in different roles.

Unlike traditional outside backs, Emmilea’s strength lies in her ability to stay involved in the contest — constantly working around the ball, supporting through the middle, and capitalising on broken play. Her background across rugby league and rugby union sevens has enhanced her footwork, agility, and decision-making in unstructured situations.

Since relocating to Queensland, Emmilea has continued her progression through elite pathways. She is currently playing for Moreton Bay Raiders and is part of the Future Titans Development Pathway, while also earning selection in the Burleigh Bears Harvey Norman U17s, South Coast representative teams, and the QRL Country U17 Program.

With clear ambitions of reaching the NRLW, Emmilea profiles as a modern, high-tempo outside back — combining speed, instinct, and work rate to consistently impact games in both structured and broken play.
