Tricia Doyle is a powerful and versatile dual-code forward whose athleticism, leadership, and physical presence have made her a standout performer in Rugby League and Rugby Union. A proud Irish international, she has represented Ireland with the Irish Wolfhounds and played a key role in their 2025 Celtic Challenge campaign victory.
Her Rugby League journey began with the Dublin City Exiles, where her explosive impact quickly earned national selection and two grand final titles. Across two highly competitive seasons, she achieved three international test caps in 2024, earning Player of the Match in one fixture and vice-captaining Ireland to victory in another. Her game has become defined by relentless work rate, dominant carries, and an ability to shift momentum in critical moments.
In Rugby Union, Tricia captained Trinity College Dublin, leading with tactical intelligence, discipline, and a commanding presence in the forward pack. Her all-around sporting pedigree extends further with multiple underage county titles in Gaelic football and hurling, highlighting her natural athleticism and competitive edge across codes.
Since relocating to Australia, she has continued to excel—helping the Aspley Women’s team secure a third-place finish in the Premiership. After only seven weeks in the country, she was selected for the Brisbane City team in the Chair’s Challenge, impressing in both prop and second-row roles. Her dominant performances saw her progress to selection for the Queensland City squad, where she again played prop and made a major impact in both attack and defence.
Following the Australian season, Tricia travelled to Canada to compete in the ROL Series, earning her 4th and 5th international caps. She vice-captained Ireland in both games and was awarded Player of the Match in one, reinforcing her reputation as a leader who performs at the highest level.
Renowned for her raw power, explosive carries, fearless style of play, and calm decision-making under pressure, Tricia elevates every team she joins—both on and off the pitch. A respected leader, driven competitor, and proven international talent, she continues to set standards across every code she represents.
